From collector's point of view

From collector's point of view

If you thought that collecting VIA C3s was complicated, with C7s it is worse. Not because there are more models, it is the opposite, but because most models are in a BGA type package, making them actually rarer.
However, do not expect to easily find the µPGA models. Some models are sold from time to time on EBay, or on specialized forums, like 765 models, more rarely 754. As for the others, the C7 1.5 or 1.6GHz, the C7-M 785, 794 and in a slower level, 795 in µPGA format, if man would not find a photo in some collections, we might think they do not exist ...
This is also the case for many other versions in nanoBGA2. And overall, no collector has, to date, a large collection of C7, complete or almost. And by far.
At most, you will find collections of around ten C7s, while no less than 46 models and variants are listed here.
And this is inevitably found in the rarity index that we try to define for each processor : half of the models have a rarity of ******, ten have one of ***** and the rest is divided between *** and **** !
No model is common.

On the top of that, some models can be found in two different colors: green and brown. A priori, only two models are found with the brown variant.
Be careful, there are several variants of green, some a little khaki, drawing a little on the brown, but these are not the brown variant. No, because the brown variant is really dark, there is no possible ambiguity, as shown below:
