When you collect CPUs, at a certain point, you want to test them. Maybe not especially for real use, but just to know if what you have is functional and even sometimes, how do they perform (for the most modern ones, at least).
For older ones, it can even be a challenge to set-up a full working machine and install everything like in the past.
So after getting the CPUs, begin the search for motherboards or even full machines. Like the CPUs, the best source is usually EBay, where you can find more or less huge quantities of different models, from IBM PC motherboards for 8088 & 8086 to latest Socket H4 ones.

BUT, for the recent ones and for some specific other ones, in my search, I’ve come along another choice, to get new modern motherboards, not used, for a very decent price compared to the used counterparts you can find on EBay : Chinese OEM Motherboards !

On Aliexpress, you will find a big range of chinese motherboards, either no-name, either from unknown brands (at least for occidentals) like Jingsha, Huananzhi, Kllisre or Machinist, which can be more than enough for just testing and benchmarking your CPUs.

Actually, for real use, for everyone, not only collectors, it can be a very good deal.
