These are pictures of the first chips that I saved from refurbishing recycled computers for a public school that had no computers.
I started saving CPU's and other interesting chips in the 1980's as I started to upgrade my own computers. I stopped saving chips about 1996 and in March 2008 I decided to sell my "collection" on the local "Craigslist" for $95.
Luckily, no one bought them and then I started researching "old chips" on Google. I found CPU-World and joined it immediately!
I've been addicted to chips ever since! ;P
