From collector's point of view

Except the first Pentium II Xeon Engineering samples at 300 and 350 MHz, we can say that Xeons of first generation weren't so hard to find. We could even say that for some models, it was easier to find ES version than commercial ones (Pentium III Xeon 500 and 550 for example)...
Actually, it can be easily explained by the way the professional market, which use much this kind of cpus, works. Companies regularly and in big quantities updates their computers. So when it happens, the second-hand market is flooded by this kind of cpus. The draw back is that once all companies have upgraded their machines, it became harder to find older cpus.
So, some years ago, those Xeons were everywhere, but now, there are less and less around, because companies don't use them anymore for long time, and now upgrade from Pentium 4 Xeons...
But, anyway, for still some time, it should not be too hard to complete the family, for aware collectors.
